We remind subsurface users about the deadlines for submitting geological reports.
Subsurface users are required to submit geological information to the federal Fund for Geological Information and its territorial funds, and in subsurface areas of local importance — to the funds of geological information of the subjects of the Russian Federation.
The deadlines and procedure for submitting reports are determined by licensing agreements and regulated by Article 27 of the Law of the Russian Federation "On Subsoil".
It is necessary to report on all types of work in licensed areas: geological exploration, mining (including groundwater), monitoring of the state of the subsoil and other types of use of the subsoil provided for by the license.
Late submission of reports entails a fine under Article 7.3 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation: from 2 to 500 thousand rubles. In case of systematic or gross violations, the right to use the subsoil may be terminated prematurely (Article 20 of the Law "On Subsoil").
The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan recommends checking the deadlines for reporting on license agreements in advance and sending complete and reliable information to the funds in a timely manner.
