The violator will pay almost 2 million rubles for the illegal removal of a fertile soil layer in the Almetyevsk district.
Earlier, inspectors from the South-Eastern Directorate revealed a violation of environmental legislation in the Almetyevsk district.
During an on-site survey, it was established that illegal removal and relocation of a fertile soil layer on agricultural lands was carried out in the Novonikolskoye rural settlement. The work was carried out by a legal entity.
The total area of the site where the fertile layer was removed was 948 sq. m. Environmentalists calculated the amount of damage caused to the soil. It amounted to 1 million 953 thousand rubles.
The case materials were sent to the Rosselkhoznadzor of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Tatarstan Environmental Prosecutor's Office, which filed claims against the violator.
The Almetyevsk court granted a claim for damages for the illegal removal and relocation of a fertile soil layer.
