The Clean Air campaign continues in Tatarstan, aimed at reducing the level of air pollution by vehicles.
As part of the joint work of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan and the State Automobile Supervision of the Republic of Tatarstan, regular inspections of cars for compliance with environmental standards are carried out.
Since June 1, 859 vehicles have been checked: 647 passenger cars, 29 trucks and 183 buses.
The excess was detected in 9 vehicles, which is 1% of the total number of cars checked.
The employees of the Ministry of Ecology conducted an explanatory conversation with the owners of vehicles that had been found to be exceeding their limits on the inadmissibility of violations of mandatory requirements of legislation in the field of atmospheric air protection and drew up protocols on administrative offenses.
Inspections are taking place in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Verkhneuslonsky, Chistopolsky, Buinsk, Nizhnekamsk, Aznakaevo, Arsk and Leninogorsk districts.
The operation will continue until September 30 in support of the national Environmental Well-being project.
