Inspectors of the North Territorial Department revealed violation of water use regulations

In the beginning of this December on the territory adjacent to the State Autonomous Institution for Social Service “Novo-Churilinsky Psychoneurological Hostel” of Arsk district, inspectors of the North Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed spontaneous discharge of polluted domestic waste waters to the local landscape down the pipe of 150 mm in diameter without due purification and deactivation. Polluted waters flow into the river Bezymyannaya, an affluent of the Malaya Mesha river, flowing within the boundaries of the settlement Novoe Churilino in the direction of Saby district of the Republic of Tatarstan. Administrative investigation was initiated with regard to this fact. Inspectors of the North Territorial Department drew water samples at the site of inflow of waste waters of the State Autonomous Institution for Social Service “Novo-Churilinsky Psychoneurological Hostel” along the local landscape into the river Bezymyannaya, an affluent of the Malaya Mesha river. Following the results of quantitative chemical analysis, the following excesses were revealed:
- ammonium ions – by 84 times;
- nitrites – by 6 times;
- sulfates – by 1.34 times;
- phosphates – by 16.5 times;
- iron – by 3.1 times;
- oil products – by 6.8 times.
Protocol was drawn against Director of the State Autonomous Institution for Social Service “Novo-Churilinsky Psychoneurological Hostel” subject to Article 8.14, part 1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation “Violation of water use regulations in water collection, without water collection and in discharge of waster waters into water facilities”. At the moment, damage inflicted on water resources is evaluated.

As part of the new national project "Environmental well-being" Tatarstan has planned the implementation of 8 environmental initiatives with total funding of 3 billion rubles. The main part of the funds will be used for work on the federal project "Water of Russia", Minister of Ecology Azat Ziganshin said at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Today, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Azat Ziganshin spoke at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was dedicated to the start of the sanitary and ecological two-month period and environmental work plans for 2026 within the framework of the national project "Environmental well-being".
Today, at the weekly staff meeting with the heads of structural and territorial divisions, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Azat Ziganshin, presented badges and official identification cards to the staff of the department.
