Students of Chistopol got acquainted with the work of environmentalists in the Volga-Kama department
As part of the career guidance work of the Ministry of Ecology, students of the Chistopol Agricultural College visited the Volga-Kama Department with an excursion. The event was aimed at familiarizing future specialists with real-world activities in the field of environmental and geological supervision.
The students saw how the inspectors' work is organized in practice: from monitoring the environment to detecting and suppressing violations of environmental legislation. The ecologists told the students in detail about the key areas of state environmental supervision and what tasks the ministry's employees solve on a daily basis.
A visit to the eco-surveillance laboratory aroused particular interest among the young people. They were shown the process of studying water samples and the operation of modern analytical equipment that allows them to accurately determine the presence of pollutants. The laboratory staff emphasized how critically important such research is for ensuring the environmental safety of the region.
The tour gave the students the opportunity to better understand the content of the ecologist's profession and to get acquainted in detail with their future work. Such events help students make informed choices and replenish the industry's talent pool.
