Minister of Ecology Azat Ziganshin participates in the International Forum "Ecology of the Big City"
The International Forum "Ecology of the Big City", which is held under the auspices of the Nevsky International Ecological Congress and in support of the national project "Ecological Well-being", has started today in St. Petersburg. Thousands of experts from the regions of Russia and foreign countries will meet at the discussion platforms to talk about environmental protection.
The Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Azat Ziganshin, has already participated in a business breakfast of regional ministers. Also today, he will attend the official opening of the forum, the plenary session and make a presentation at the forum of regions "Russian Ecological Society: Shaping an intelligent eco-environment".
The two-day program of the forum includes more than 60 events and seven thematic tracks, including the ecology of regions and cities, the implementation of the new federal project "Closed-loop Economy", technologies and practices for the implementation of environmental monitoring systems, issues of water resources protection and the development of the reserve fund.
The Forum is aimed at promoting and introducing innovative environmental protection equipment and technologies in Russia that contribute to the conservation of natural resources, strengthen environmental safety and improve the quality of life of the population in large cities.
