Earlier, inspectors from the Southeastern Department identified two unauthorized landfills near a landfill for solid household waste in the Pismyanskoye rural settlement of the Leninogorsk district.
The area of the first dump was 375 sq.m., the volume was 375 cubic meters. The area of the second dump was 594 sq.m., the volume was 891 cubic meters.
Environmentalists have calculated the amount of damage caused to the soil. It amounted to 623 thousand rubles. The inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology sent a claim demanding that the violation be voluntarily eliminated and the damage compensated. However, the demands were not met. The Agency appealed to the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan, which supported the position of the environmental protection agency.
The Executive Committee of the Leninogorsk district disagreed with the court's decision and filed an appeal with the 11th Arbitration Court of Appeal in Samara. The court, having considered the case materials, left the decision of the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan unchanged.
