The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from residents of the Leninogorsk district regarding environmental pollution. The applicants reported the discharge of sewage onto the terrain.
To verify the information, inspectors from the Southeastern Territorial Administration immediately went to the place in the Pismyanskoye rural settlement. During the survey of the territory, the fact of violation of environmental legislation was confirmed. It was found that the discharge of untreated wastewater to the adjacent land plot is carried out from the territory of AGRO-STROY LLC.
The Ministry's specialists carried out soil sampling for laboratory analysis. Studies performed by an accredited laboratory revealed a significant excess of the maximum permissible concentrations of pollutants. The samples showed an excess of standards for sulfates, nitrate nitrogen, nitrite nitrogen and chlorides.
Based on the results obtained, experts assessed the damage caused to the soil as an object of environmental protection. The amount of damage amounted to 120 thousand rubles.
A complaint was sent to the business entity demanding that it voluntarily compensate for the damage caused to the environment and eliminate the consequences of pollution. However, the company ignored this requirement without taking any measures.
Due to the lack of reaction from the violator, the Ministry of Ecology appealed to the Arbitration Court with a statement of claim for compulsory recovery of the amount of damage. After reviewing the case materials, the court recognized the Ministry's claims as legitimate and justified and decided to recover 120 thousand rubles in full from AGRO-STROY LLC.
