Earlier, inspectors from the South-Eastern Directorate revealed a violation of water legislation in Almetyevsk.
On Hadi Taktasha Street, the owner of the site installed a fence that restricted residents' free access to the Bigashka River. The distance from the fence to the water was less than 5 meters, which is a violation of Article 65 of the Water Code of the Russian Federation.
The inspectors sent a complaint to the individual demanding that the fence be removed. However, the environmentalists' instructions were not fulfilled within the prescribed time.
The specialists appealed to the Almetyevsk City Court with a statement of claim. The court sided with the environmentalists and ordered the violator to ensure free access of residents to the river.
