Inspectors from the Volga-Kama Department visited the Romashka kindergarten in Bazarnye Mataki village, Alkeevsky district. Specialists from the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan had an exciting conversation on the topic "Let's protect nature together." Preschool children learned how to protect nature at any time of the year.
The children were told that protecting nature is everybody's business. They were told why it is so important to help the birds in winter by hanging feeders and making sure that they always have food in them: unsalted seeds, dried berries. And in summer— don't make noise in the forest, don't pick rare plants, don't leave trash behind, and be careful with fire.
"Environmental education begins at a very young age. When children learn through play and direct communication that a bird needs to be fed in winter, and a candy wrapper needs to be taken with them from the forest, this becomes part of their worldview. It is these guys who grow up conscious and responsible," said a specialist from the Volga-Kama Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
At the end of the meeting, a small final blitz survey was conducted for the children, which showed how well they had mastered the new knowledge. All the children received themed commemorative coloring pages with images of animals and birds of their native land as a gift from the Ministry, which they immediately decorated with great interest.
Such events not only provide children with new knowledge, but also lay the foundation for a responsible attitude towards the natural resources of our republic in the future, which helps to achieve the goals of the national project "Environmental well-being".
