Olga Manidicheva, Deputy Minister of Ecology, congratulated the winners of the regional stage of the Professionals Championship

From January 19 to 22, the Kazan Petrochemical College named after V. P. Lushnikov hosted the regional stage of the Professionals Professional Skills championship in the Environmental Protection competence in support of the national Environmental Well-being project. 

Students from Kazan, Chistopol and Nizhnekamsk took part in the championship. They demonstrated their skills by determining the concentrations of pollutants in the air and calculating the hazard class of waste, and also received an assessment from leading experts.

Olga Manidicheva, Deputy Minister of Ecology, congratulated the winners of the championship today:

"You are a worthy example for your peers, and I wish you great success in studying environmental protection. Your knowledge and efforts to protect nature can become the key to the ecological well-being of our Tatarstan."

According to the results of the championship, the winners were:

1st place – Kazan Petrochemical College named after V. P. Lushnikov;

2nd place – N. V. Lemaev College of Petrochemistry and Oil Refining, Nizhnekamsk;

3rd place – Kazan Technological College.

The winners will represent the Republic of Tatarstan at the final (interregional) stage of the professional skills championship "Professionals" in the competence "Environmental protection".

As a reminder, Kazan Petrochemical College, being a specialized competence center for environmental protection since 2020, has been actively contributing to the development of professional skills in this field. The main industrial partner of the College is the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
