The violator will pay 3.5 million rubles for damage caused to the soil
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan has repeatedly received complaints from residents about unauthorized dumping and incineration of waste in the village of Otary in the Privolzhsky district of Kazan.
Inspectors from the Central Administration went to the site and confirmed the fact of storage of soil contaminated with construction waste. The area of the violation was 5437 sq.m.
Administration of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts of IKMO warning was sent to Kazan about the inadmissibility of violating mandatory requirements and eliminating unauthorized waste storage. Since no measures were taken to eliminate the violation, a complaint was sent to the violator.
In addition, environmentalists have calculated the amount of damage caused to the soil. It amounted to 3,457,715 rubles.
