14 January 2026, Wednesday

During a survey of the territory of the Cheremshansky district by inspectors of the Southeastern Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Environmental Prosecutor's Office, a violation of the license agreement was revealed during the development of the Sofyevsky limestone deposit in the Sheshminskoye rural settlement.

A license was issued for the right to use mineral resources to the Limited Liability Company Sofyevsky Quarry , which provides for the exploration and extraction of limestone in the Cheremshansky district.

However, experts from the Ministry of Ecology have recorded the storage of finished products, dumping and crushing equipment on agricultural lands, as well as in the Sheshma River water protection zone, which is a violation of licensing conditions and a deviation from the Field Development Project, as well as a violation of the Water Code of the Russian Federation.

The storage and dumping area amounted to 8 thousand square meters.

An official of Sofyevsky Quarry LLC was brought to administrative responsibility under Part 2 of Article 7.3 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation "Violation of the conditions stipulated by the license for the use of mineral resources." The violation has been eliminated for today.
