The court satisfied the demands of environmentalists and ordered to eliminate the landfill in Mendeleevsk
During a survey of the territory of Mendeleevsk, inspectors of the Kama Department revealed a violation of environmental legislation. On a plot of land along Gassara Street, experts have recorded a place of unauthorized disposal of industrial and consumer waste, namely unsorted housing waste, a scrap of building bricks and car tires.
The clutter area was 179 sq.m.
The Executive Committee of the Mendeleevsky district was issued a warning about the inadmissibility of violating the mandatory requirements of environmental legislation and a requirement to eliminate the violation.
Later, as part of the verification of the execution of the warning, a re-examination of the territory was carried out. According to the results, it was determined that the unauthorized landfill had not been eliminated. The Kama Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan appealed to the Mendeleevsky District Court with a statement of claim. The court supported the environmentalists' demands and ordered the illegal landfill to be eliminated.
