The Public Council of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan summed up the results of the year
The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted the final meeting of the Public Council, chaired by Minister Alexander Shadrikov.
Representatives of the scientific community, environmental experts, public activists and department specialists were invited to the dialogue. Opening the meeting, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan noted:
"Today we can confidently talk about good results, but the environmental sphere is an area of continuous improvement. We are facing large-scale tasks set by the Head of Tatarstan, Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov, and the proposals of the residents of our republic are no less important. There are many tasks, but I am sure that together with you we will be able to implement many more initiatives and projects for the benefit of Tatarstan and each of its inhabitants. Thank you for your cooperation!"
Chairman of the Public Council Nail Gazeev presented a detailed report on activities for 2025. Special attention in the report was paid to landmark events, including the XX All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference named after A. I. Shchepovskikh, which united three significant anniversaries: the 80th anniversary of the birth of Anatoly Ivanovich Shchepovskikh, the 65th anniversary of the Volga-Kama Biosphere Reserve and the 180th anniversary of the Russian Geographical Society.
An award ceremony was held at the final meeting of the council. A. I. Shchepovskikh medal was awarded to Idgai Mingazetdinov, Professor of the Department of General Chemistry and Ecology at Kazan National Research Technical University named after A. N. Tupolev. Anna Baymyashkina, the head of the Youth Environmental Movement "It will be Clean", was awarded a letter of thanks from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Concluding the meeting, Ilnur Nasretdinov, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, presented a promising initiative to create a youth commission within the Public Council.
