The first All-Russian Forum-exhibition "Ecomonitoring in Russia" was held in Moscow, organized by the Association for the Development of Digitalization and Technological Support of Environmental Monitoring (AREM) in support of the national project "Environmental well-being".

The event brought together more than 380 representatives of government agencies, the scientific community, business and public organizations on one platform. The main topic of the forum was the integrated development of environmental monitoring systems in the regions of Russia.

The Republic of Tatarstan was represented at the forum by Olga Manidicheva, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Mars Valiev, Head of the NGO Geocenter of the Republic of Tatarstan. The presentation described the experience of creating and developing an environmental monitoring system in Tatarstan, including the experience of implementing computational monitoring.

Rashid Ismailov, Chairman of the Russian Ecological Society, identified three key conditions for the successful development of ecomonitoring: openness and accessibility of information for citizens, government regulation and business responsibility, and prioritization of environmental interests of society.

Sergey Egorshev, Chairman of the AREM Management Board, announced the Association's plans to develop a series of standards for the creation and development of territorial ecomonitoring systems.

Panel sessions on digitalization of environmental monitoring and industrial emissions control were also held within the framework of the forum. An exhibition of modern equipment and technological solutions for environmental monitoring systems was opened in the lobby.

Based on the results of the forum, a declaration is being prepared, which will be sent to the federal executive authorities for joint work on specific proposals in 2026.
