Inspectors from the Priiksky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted an eco-lesson at Urussinsky school No. 2 in the Utazinsky district. Experts told the third graders what ecology is, and why caring for nature is a common cause that begins with small but significant actions by everyone.
During the lesson, the children learned about simple rules that help preserve nature: do not pollute reservoirs, use less plastic bags, plant trees, sort waste, and do not light fires in forests. The inspectors told interesting facts, for example, that glass decomposes the longest in nature.
The children shared their experience of protecting nature: they talked about collecting waste paper and used batteries, as well as helping pets and stray animals.
Such educational events help to educate children to respect the natural resources of their native land and form the basis for responsible behavior in the future, which contributes to the goals of the national project "Environmental well-being".
