Inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology recorded the filling of the coastal strip in the Bavly district
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from residents of Bavly. Tatarstan residents complained about the filling of the coastal strip with construction waste from the Bavlinka River. Inspectors from the Priiksky department promptly went to the site and confirmed the violation of environmental legislation. According to Article 65 of the Water Code of the Russian Federation, it is prohibited to dispose of production and consumption waste within the boundaries of water protection zones and coastal protection strips.
The total area of the violation is 145 sq.m.
The filling covers two land plots, the owner of one of them is an individual. The violator will be fined under Articles 8.2 "Non-compliance with environmental requirements in the management of industrial and consumer waste" and under part 1 of Article 8.42 "Use of the coastal protective strip of a water body, a water protection zone of a water body in violation of restrictions on economic and other activities" of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.
