The Ministry of Ecology held a meeting with students of Kazan State Agrarian University
Deputy Minister Ilnur Nasretdinov and Head of the Department of Information Systems and Environmental Education Damir Valiullin spoke about the Ministry's activities and environmental awareness events. The meeting was held for 2nd year students of the Department of State and Municipal Service of the Institute of Economics of the KGAU.
During the meeting, the students learned about the Ministry's work in the field of protection of atmospheric air, water bodies, land resources, as well as environmental supervision and methods of work to combat violations of environmental legislation. The sophomores were introduced to the national project "Ecological well-being" and environmental protection measures carried out at the expense of "green" money.
As Ilnur Nasretdinov noted, "Everyone, whether they want to or not, has an impact on the environment. It is important to understand that our habits — for example, separate garbage collection — can contribute to its protection. We already have active assistants: the Young scientists, the youth movement "It will be Clean" and the Russian Geographical Society (RGS), who organize clean-up days. If each of us participates in them, the overall contribution to nature conservation will be enormous."
The meeting was held in a dialogue format and the students received answers to their questions, such as work in the civil service, the specifics of environmental monitoring and digitalization.
