Environmentalists have solved more than 5,000 appeals from Tatarstan residents
Since the beginning of the year, the Ministry's specialists have solved 5070 questions submitted to the Republican Public Environmental Reception. A total of 5,487 requests have been received since January 1.
Most of the questions were received through the Ministry's reception office – 2,473 requests. Schoolchildren continue to be active in issues of environmental well-being. 1,702 messages were accepted in the "School Ecopatrol" category of the "I am a Student" application. The People's Control system received 1,144 questions and 168 on the feedback platform.
More than 51% of the requests (2,829 notifications) were related to unauthorized landfills. 880 complaints were received about the quality of atmospheric air. 567 appeals were received on the issues of pollution of water bodies, 42 questions related to CUM and 1169 - other issues.

It is enough to install the "I am a student" application and take a picture of the discovered landfill. The photo is automatically sent to the Ministry, where experts check the data and transmit the information to the municipalities. This is how schoolchildren and the agency work together: they record, react and clean Tatarstan from garbage.
