In a week we will find out the winners of the "School Ecopatrol"!
On November 18, the winners of the School Eco-patrol competition, which is being held by the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan in support of the national project "Ecological Well-being", will be awarded at the Tatar State Academic Puppet Theater "Ekiyat". This year, 3181 applications have been submitted to the competition.
The School Ecopatrol competition has been held in Tatarstan since 2014 on behalf of the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. Its main goal is to involve schoolchildren in environmental protection activities and show them the possibilities for preserving environmental objects. Over the 11 years of the project's existence, environmentalists have already received more than 51,000 reports from schoolchildren about unauthorized landfills.
To participate, it is enough for students to download the mobile application "I am a student", register and send photos and videos with recorded violations of waste management rules in the "School Environmental Patrol" category. Supervisory measures are taken by the inspector for each fact, and the student receives points for his activity.
On November 18, the most active environmental assistants will receive gifts such as virtual reality helmets, microscopes, smart watches, smartphones, tablets, a 3D printer and other valuable prizes. As part of the award ceremony, the names of the winners of the battery collection campaign will also be announced.
The competition is held among urban and rural educational organizations. The winners will be awarded in the following categories:
"The most active student" in the categories: grades 1-4, grades 5-8, grades 9-11;
The "most active class" in the categories: Grades 1-4, Grades 5-8, Grades 9-11;
"The most active school";
"The best municipal area / urban district".
