A large landfill was eliminated at the expense of "green" money in the Bavli district
Earlier, during a survey of the territory of the Bavli district, inspectors from the Priiksky department identified an unauthorized landfill. In the Salikhovo rural settlement, environmentalists recorded the illegal dumping of industrial and consumer waste, as well as construction and plant waste. The area of the unauthorized landfill is 3,096 sq.m.
The liquidation of the landfill was included in the list of environmental protection measures implemented at the expense of revenues from environmental payments to the budget of the Bavli district. As of today, the work to eliminate the landfill has been completed.
Environmental payments received by the district budget form the basis for the implementation of environmental initiatives. These funds make it possible not only to solve environmental protection tasks, but also to directly contribute to improving the environmental well-being of residents.
