28 November 2013, Thursday

On November 26, 2013 года the second meeting of literature and art salon “Renaissance” was held at Higher Educational Institution of Art named after Salikh Saydashev of the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication under Kazan (Volga) Federal University. “Ecology and art: union or opposition” was the theme of the event. First Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Kamalov, Doctor of Philology, professor, deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Foat Galimullin, Deputy Head of Kazan City Executive Committee for social issues Leyla Fazleeva, and merited artist of Russia Grigory Eydinov were invited to the event.
Permanent host of the salon, assistant professor Mikhail Yao, acknowledged inseparable connection of man and nature, having made lively review of the outstanding pieces of the world art – canvases of Titian, Bottichelli, Rembrandt, as well as pieces of work of Russian, Soviet, and modern foreign artists. As art shows, the tendency of consumer attitude to nature has been forming gradually, and at present it is threatening.
A conversation with Grigory Eydinov became logical development of the theme, since in his creative work ecological problems were originally incarnated. Participants of the event got an opportunity to familiarize with pictures of the artist, among which a sarcastic canvas “Rooks have flew away” was the most noticeable — it was interpretation of artist Savrasov’s plot with regard to modern ecological environment.
A speech of the First Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Kamalov depicted great complex work carried out by the Ministry in cooperation with active social movements for stabilization and enhancement of ecological state both in the city and in the Republic. “Ecology is the science of home, – said Deputy Minister, — care for home, as a rule, is the responsibility of all family members. Municipal community can do a lot to enhance the ecological situation informing on dangerous facts, initiating new projects and cooperating with the Ministry”.
