The inspector of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan visited the pupils of secondary school No. 6. The environmental lesson for seventh graders was devoted to how modern science helps to protect nature.

The main topic of the meeting was "Introduction to Science. The world through the eyes of an ecologist." The students were told exactly what ecology does, how living organisms interact with the environment and why it is so important to preserve the natural balance for future generations.

The class discussed a variety of issues, from air, water and soil pollution to climate change and the conservation of species diversity.

The "theory" was reinforced by practice: after the lecture, the inspector organized an educational quiz for the children. The class was divided into three teams to compete with each other in knowledge of the world around them. The students answered questions from different fields. Ecology helped to consolidate the foundations of a responsible attitude to nature, mathematics and physics showed how exact sciences are related to solving environmental problems, biology and geography expanded the understanding of wildlife and different parts of the planet, and assignments on a free topic allowed for ingenuity and creativity.

According to the representative of the Ministry of Ecology, such lessons do not just improve literacy, but form a real interest in environmental protection among young people, which contributes to achieving the goals of the national project "Environmental well-being".
