The implementation of the Recycling School: Electronics program continues in the republic in support of the national Environmental Well-being project. In September, 7.3 tons of electronic and electrical equipment were collected and disposed of as part of the program. 10 budget organizations from Kazan and Zelenodolsk district took part in the environmental campaign.
Since the beginning of the year, 104 tons of waste from electronic and electrical equipment have been collected and disposed of. 197 budget organizations have joined the program.
The federal program provides an opportunity for residents to transfer expired equipment for recycling in an environmentally friendly and convenient manner. To participate, you need to register and submit an application on the Foundation's website: www.eko-fond.ru .
You can take it for recycling:
• computer and office equipment;
• household appliances (including washing machines and refrigerators);
• power tools;
• Scientific and medical technology;
• Phones and personal gadgets;
• Electronic and electric toys;
• cartridges (must not exceed 10% of the volume of the delivered equipment).

The next training camp will be held in Naberezhnye Chelny, Tukayevsky and Sarmanovsky districts.
Tatarstan takes an active part in the program. By the end of 2024, the republic took the second place in the "Leading Regions" nomination, collecting 366 tons of electronics. In terms of the number of registrations from budget organizations, Tatarstan took the leading place among the regions that joined the federal program. This is the result of the work of 787 organizations that submitted 2,123 applications.
Disposal is carried out in strict accordance with the norms of environmental legislation with the issuance of a complete set of documents.
For reference: the School of Recycling: Electronics program is aimed at reducing environmental damage from improper disposal of electronic equipment and popularizing an informed approach to hazardous waste collection among the population. It has been implemented in Tatarstan since 2022 as part of an agreement between the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
