A 100-thousandth tree was planted in Kazan

Today, within the framework of the project “Green Record” that started in autumn of 2012, a 100-thousandth tree was planted in the city of Kazan. The First Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Kamalov and the Chief of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilham Sabirov took part in the campaign. 67 lindens and 3 fir-trees were planted in the territory near the family center “Kazan”.
Heads of enterprises and organizations, representatives of environmental community as well as married couples celebrating their “gold” and “diamond” wedding anniversaries joined the campaign.

As part of the new national project "Environmental well-being" Tatarstan has planned the implementation of 8 environmental initiatives with total funding of 3 billion rubles. The main part of the funds will be used for work on the federal project "Water of Russia", Minister of Ecology Azat Ziganshin said at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Today, at the weekly staff meeting with the heads of structural and territorial divisions, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Azat Ziganshin, presented badges and official identification cards to the staff of the department.
As part of the monitoring of the territory of Naberezhnye Chelny, inspectors of the Kama Department revealed a violation of environmental legislation.
