Specialists from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in comprehensive exercises aimed at working out actions in case of emergency oil spills. The events were held in Alekseevsky and Zainsky districts. The commissions included inspectors from the Volga-Kama and Zakamsky territorial departments of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In the Alekseevsky district, exercises were conducted for specialists of the Romashkinsky RNU Transneft-Prikamye on the section of the Almetyevsk-Gorky-3 main oil pipeline across the Kama River. According to the legend of the exercises, there was a spill of oil products with a volume of more than 1,000 cubic meters. 8 emergency services and formations were involved in the event. During the two-stage exercises, the participants worked out the notification of services, evacuation of personnel, fencing of the territory and elimination of a conditional spill using special equipment.
In the Zainsky district, exercises were held for employees of NGDU "Elkhovneft" and PASF LLC "RegionSpas" on the territory of the Sokolkinsky oil field in the village of Neratovka. According to legend, there was an oil spill with a volume of 999 cubic meters. Rescue units carried out a similar set of measures to localize and eliminate the conditional spill of petroleum products.
Following the results of the exercises, the commission assessed the actions of all participants as "satisfactory". The measures carried out confirmed the readiness of the emergency services to promptly respond to emergency situations related to oil and petroleum product spills.
