A huge landfill in Kazan has been eliminated after environmentalists' warning

As part of the monitoring of Kazan, inspectors from the Central Department of the Ministry of Ecology revealed a violation of environmental legislation. In Kazan, on Khimicheskaya St., environmentalists discovered unauthorized storage of household and construction waste.

The total area of the violation was 9,538 square meters, and the landfill volume was 6,975 cubic meters.

The Executive Committee of the city was issued a warning about the inadmissibility of violations of mandatory requirements of environmental legislation and the elimination of unauthorized waste storage.

As of today, the landfill has been eliminated, the territory has been brought into proper sanitary and ecological condition.
