A "wild" quarry the size of a football field has been reclaimed in the Arsky district
In Tatarstan, work continues on the implementation of environmental protection measures at the expense of local budget revenues from environmental revenues. The events are formed within the framework of agreements concluded between the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Executive Committees of the districts.
Earlier, during the monitoring of the Arsky district, inspectors of the Northern Department of the Ministry of Ecology discovered a violation of environmental legislation. Environmentalists have identified an illegal quarry near the village of Verkhnyaya Masra. The area of the violation was 6,300 square meters, and the volume of the "wild" quarry exceeded 8,800 cubic meters.
The reclamation of the quarry was included in the list of environmental protection measures that are implemented through environmental payments received by the budget of the Arsky district. As of today, the reclamation of the quarry has been completed.
