345 kg of batteries were collected by Aznakaevo citizens as part of the marathon "In the footsteps of good deeds"
The marathon "In the footsteps of good deeds" within the framework of the Clean Heritage Olympiad and in support of the national project "Environmental Well-being" was held on the Central Square of Aznakaevo.
About a hundred people from 10 city schools took part in the "Realize and Share" eco-quest. Each team has set up special recycling collection stations. The students accepted paper, plastic caps, toothbrushes, batteries, and also collected food for stray animals.
According to the results of the eco-quest, 345 kg of batteries, 130 kg of waste paper, 30 kg of plastic caps, 220 pieces of toothbrushes were collected. Charity has not been forgotten either. 51 kg of dry food was collected for the shelter.
The marathon "In the footsteps of good deeds" goes further – to Aktyubinsky village. The participants will have to solve the case of the disappearance of rare species of animals and plants.
The Clean Heritage Olympiad is being held in Tatarstan with the support of Tatneft and the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan. Today is the last day to apply for participation.
