The court upheld the environmentalists' demand to eliminate an unauthorized landfill in Naberezhnye Chelny
Earlier, during the monitoring of the territory of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny, inspectors of the Kama Department identified an unauthorized landfill. The fact of dumping concrete waste was established along Chulman Avenue. The area of violation is 63 sq.m.
A warning was issued to the Executive Committee of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny about the inadmissibility of violating the mandatory requirements of environmental legislation.
Upon re-departure, it was discovered that the landfill had not been eliminated. The Kama Department of the Ministry of Ecology appealed to the Naberezhnye Chelny City Court with a statement of claim for forcing the violation to be eliminated and declaring the inaction of the Executive Committee illegal. The court supported the environmentalists' demands and ordered the Executive Committee to eliminate the unauthorized landfill within two months from the date of entry into force of the court's decision.
