The court supported the demands of environmentalists and ordered to eliminate the landfill in Naberezhnye Chelny

Earlier, as part of the monitoring of Naberezhnye Chelny, inspectors from the Kama Department revealed violations of environmental legislation in the field of waste management.

An unauthorized landfill was discovered on the territory of the Komsomolsk district. The total area of the violation was 53 sq.m.

The Executive Committee of Naberezhnye Chelny was issued a warning about the inadmissibility of violating the mandatory requirements of environmental legislation.

The inspectors conducted a second visit to the site. However, the landfill was not eliminated.

Environmentalists sent a statement of claim to the Naberezhnye Chelny City Court. The court upheld the Ministry's demands and ordered the violation to be eliminated within two months.
