During the inspection of the territory of the Aznakaevsky district by inspectors of the Priiksky Department of the Ministry of Ecology, a violation of environmental legislation was revealed. In the village of Chemodurovo, there is a restriction on free access to a pond on the Nizhnyaya Yamashka River. A rowan net used for geese pasturage is placed on the coastal protective strip and in the pond itself, which prevents residents from freely accessing the reservoir. This violation contradicts the Water Code of the Russian Federation, according to which the coastal strip is intended for public use and access to it must be free.
Materials on this fact have been sent to the Tatar Environmental Protection Interdistrict Prosecutor's Office to identify the perpetrators and take prosecutorial response measures.
According to Article 8.12.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation "Failure to comply with the conditions for ensuring free access of citizens to a public water body and its coastline", the violator faces the imposition of an administrative fine:
for citizens – from 3,000 to 5,000 rubles;
for officials – from 40,000 to 50,000 rubles;
for legal entities – from 200,000 to 300,000 rubles or administrative suspension of activities for up to 90 days.
