Hurry up to register a team for the main clean-up day of autumn
The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan invites Tatarstan citizens to the All-Russian clean-up day "Green Russia" and the "Water of Russia" campaign within the framework of the national project "Ecological well-being".
The main autumn cleaning will take place on September 20 at 10:00 a.m. on Lake Izumrudny.
This year, the participants will have a real eco-holiday. The clean-up day will be held in the format of the "Marathon of Cleanliness" quest game, in which teams will collect waste at speed, dividing it into fractions. While the activists are cleaning up on the shore, the divers of the Russian Geographical Society will get into the very depths of the lake and clear the bottom of the Izumrudnoye from debris.
In addition to cleaning, each participant will be able to try their luck at contests and win useful prizes, attend exciting workshops and interactive venues, evaluate the concert program and, of course, refresh themselves in the hot field kitchen.

96 activists have already confirmed their participation and will join the large-scale cleaning this Saturday.
Buses will be waiting for all participants who have registered in advance at 8:30 a.m. to take them to the clean-up site. The transfer will depart from two points: 64 Tukaya Street and 51 Krasnoselskaya Street (KGEU parking lot).
All necessary cleaning equipment will be provided on the spot.
It should be recalled that Tatarstan has been holding a leading position among the regions in coastal cleaning for the fourth year. As part of the Water of Russia campaign in 2024, the republic set three national records at once:
- the record for the total length of cleared shores is 10,413 kilometers.
- the record for the volume of garbage collected is 16,584 cubic meters.
- the largest number of cleanups carried out is 9,334 events.
The organizers of the clean-up are the Regional Youth Environmental Public Organization "It will be Clean" of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Branch of the Russian Geographical Society in the Republic of Tatarstan with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the administration of Kazan.
