The violator will pay more than 800 thousand rubles for illegal extraction of sand
Two courts supported the environmentalists' position and ordered Amikron LLC to compensate for the damage caused to the environment.
Earlier, the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received appeals from residents about the unauthorized use of mineral resources in Nizhnekamsk. Inspectors of the Zakamsky department conducted an on-site inspection, during which an unauthorized quarry was identified.
The total area of the violation was 1,064 square meters, the volume of the quarry was 2,926 cubic meters.
It turned out that the company Amikron LLC was extracting and exporting sand without permits.
The inspectors calculated the damage caused to the soil for a total of 815 thousand rubles.
The violator refused to voluntarily compensate for the damage. Environmentalists have filed a claim with the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan. The Court supported the Ministry's position.
However, the violator did not agree with the decision and filed an appeal with the Eleventh Arbitration Court of Appeal. The court dismissed the complaint.
