A clean-up day was held in the village of Narat-Yelga, Chistopol district, as part of the All-Russian campaign "Water of Russia" of the national project "Environmental Well-being".

Employees of the House of Culture and caring villagers gathered to refine the Shahiazdan spring. The participants cleaned up on its territory: together they removed the garbage and mowed the grass. Now the place has become even more well-groomed and more comfortable for residents and guests.

Over the past 11 years, the Water of Russia campaign has become one of the largest environmental initiatives in Russia: It brought together over 11.5 million participants from 89 regions, who cleaned 11,000 reservoirs and collected 12.3 million bags of garbage. Tatarstan takes an active part in the environmental campaign. For the fourth year now, the republic has been holding a leading position among the regions in coastal cleaning. In 2024, Tatarstan residents held 9,334 events.
