Two courts supported the environmentalists' position and ordered the legal entity to compensate for the illegal extraction of common minerals from the area of the Dymka River.

Earlier, inspectors from the Priiksky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan found that illegal extraction of opium from a section of the river's water area was allowed in the Yutazinsky district during work on clearing the Dymka riverbed.

Environmentalists calculated the damage caused as a result of illegal mining for a total amount of 1 million 568 thousand rubles. The violator refused to voluntarily compensate for the damage.

The inspectors filed a claim with the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan. The Court supported the Ministry's position. However, the violator did not agree with the decision and filed an appeal to the Arbitration Court of Appeal No. 11. The court also satisfied the environmentalists' demands and ordered the legal entity to compensate the damage in full.
