The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan invites Tatarstan citizens to the All-Russian autumn clean-up day within the framework of the national project "Environmental Well-being"
On September 20, at 10:00 a.m., a large-scale cleaning will take place at Lake Izumrudny as part of the All-Russian clean-up day "Green Russia" and "Water of Russia" campaign of the national project "Ecological Well-being".
In the first month of autumn, eco-campaigns will be held in 89 regions of the country. The Republic of Tatarstan will join the cleanup of the territory next weekend.
Environmental initiatives are always supported by the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. As Rustam Nurgalievich emphasizes, together we must change our attitude to the environment: "Our attitude to lifestyle and the environment is changing. We understand that we need to protect our nature."
The clean-up day will be held in the format of the "Marathon of Purity" quest game. The participants will be divided into teams in order to collect as much garbage as possible for a while, dividing it into fractions. Points will be awarded for each collected bag of waste, the more points – the closer the victory.

In addition to cleaning, participants will enjoy a real ecological holiday. Everyone will be able to try their luck at contests, visit interactive venues, evaluate the concert program and, of course, refresh themselves in the hot field kitchen.
Buses will be waiting for all activists who have registered in advance at 8:30 a.m. to take them to the clean-up site. Buses will depart from two points: 64 Tukaya Street and 51 Krasnoselskaya Street (KGEU parking lot).
All necessary cleaning equipment will be provided on the spot.
It should be recalled that Tatarstan has been holding a leading position among the regions in coastal cleaning for the fourth year. As part of the Water of Russia campaign in 2024, the republic set three national records at once:
- the record for the total length of cleared shores is 10,413 kilometers.
- the record for the volume of garbage collected is 16,584 cubic meters.
- the largest number of cleanups carried out is 9,334 events.
The organizers of the clean-up are the Regional Youth Environmental Public Organization "It will be clean" of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Branch of the Russian Geographical Society in the Republic of Tatarstan with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the administration of Kazan.
