During the monitoring of the Tyulyachinsky district by inspectors of the Northern Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, the fact of unlicensed CUM extraction was revealed. Ecologists have discovered two illegal quarries in the village of Bolshye Meteski. The area of one of them is 1075 sq.m., the area of the second is 305 sq.m. Special equipment was working on the land plots during the survey.
Since the lands on which illegal mining of CUM was carried out belong to the category of agricultural land, the materials were transferred to the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Republic of Tatarstan. According to Article 78 of the Land Code of the Russian Federation, agricultural land can only be used for purposes related to agricultural production.
The case materials have also been sent to the Tatar Environmental Protection Interdistrict Prosecutor's Office.
