4,677 vehicles were checked in Tatarstan as part of Operation Clean Air
The republic continues the operational and preventive event "Clean Air" in support of the national project "Environmental well-being". The inspection in 23 districts of Tatarstan is carried out by inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan and the interregional territorial Directorate of Rostransnadzor in the Volga Federal District.
Since June 1, 4,677 vehicles have been inspected. These are 4,233 passenger cars, 234 trucks and 210 buses.
In total, 85 vehicles (75 cars, 7 trucks and 3 buses) were found to have excess capacity, which is 1.8% of the total number of vehicles checked.
Employees of the Ministry carry out explanatory work with owners of motor vehicles who have been found to have excess amounts on the inadmissibility of violations of mandatory requirements of environmental legislation in the field of atmospheric air protection and draw up protocols on administrative offenses.
The main purpose of the operational and preventive measure is to prevent the negative impact of vehicles on the state of atmospheric air. Operation Clean Air will last until the end of September.
