Environmentalists have identified a number of violations of environmental legislation in the Yutazinsky district

4 September 2025, Thursday

During a survey of the territory of the Yutazinsky district by inspectors of the Priiksky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, a number of violations of environmental legislation were identified in the village of Karakashly. In the coastal strip of the Karakashli River, environmentalists recorded the fact of water use without a contract. The entrepreneur illegally occupied the coastal and coastal protective strips and set up 8 artificial ponds for trout breeding.

The leased land plots, which revealed violations of the Land and Water Codes of the Russian Federation, were formed without coordination with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

There was also a restriction on free access to the river: a corrugated board fence was installed on one side of the river, and on the other side the coastal strip was fenced with a metal mesh. In addition, the storage of soil waste in the coastal protective strip has been established. According to the Water Code of the Russian Federation, the coastal strip is intended for general use and access to it must be free. And the coastal protection strip and the water protection zone of the Karakashli River are 50 m, at such a distance from the shore it is forbidden to conduct economic activities.

An on-site survey of the territory was conducted jointly with law enforcement agencies and the prosecutor's office of the Yutazinsky district. Information on the case has been sent to the prosecutor's office. At the moment, the trial has begun.
