Let's start the school year by taking care of nature! A new stage of the School Eco-patrol competition has started in Tatarstan
The Republic of Tatarstan has begun accepting applications for a new stage of the republican competition "School Eco-patrol", which is being implemented in support of the national project "Environmental well-being". The competition has been held in the Republic since 2014 by the decision of the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov.
It's easy to participate in the new season. To do this, you need to download the multiservice "I am a schoolboy", register and send a photo with the recorded landfills. Environmentalists will take supervisory measures, and the student will receive points for his active environmental position. The more points you get, the more chances you have to win.
The "School Ecopatrol" is held among urban and rural educational organizations in the following categories:
"The most active student" (grades 1-4, grades 5-8, grades 9-11);
"The most active class" (Grades 1-4, grades 5-8, Grades 9-11);
"The most active school";
"The best municipal area/urban district".
The winners of the competition will be awarded diplomas and prizes at the award ceremony.
During the 2024/2025 academic year, the competition received more than 3 thousand applications. Thanks to the active participation of young conservationists, it was possible to identify and eliminate many landfills throughout the republic.
The main goal of the competition is to involve schoolchildren in practical work on environmental protection and the implementation of the goals of the national project "Environmental well–being" in the field of environmental education and upbringing of the younger generation.
The organizers of the School Ecopatrol competition are the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Digital Development of Public Administration, Information Technology and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Starting from September 1, 2025, applications for participation in the School Ecopatrol competition can only be submitted in the I am a Student application. The former mobile application "School Eco-Patrol" has been decommissioned.
