Illegal withdrawal of water from a spring was revealed by environmentalists in the Mendeleevsky district
During the monitoring of the territory of the Mendeleevsky district, inspectors of the Kama Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan found a violation of environmental legislation. On a plot of land located in the Nizhny Kama National Park, environmentalists have identified unauthorized water intake from a spring. The spring is located 2 km southwest of the village of Tikhonovo. As it was established earlier, a water use agreement was concluded between the Ministry of Ecology and the collective farm, the term of which ended on 02.10.2014. However, despite the termination of the contract, water is used from the spring for domestic water supply.
According to this fact, a warning was issued to the water user about the inadmissibility of violating the mandatory requirements of environmental legislation.
