At the request of residents, inspectors from the Zavolzhsky department went to the village of Kuibyshevsky Zaton in the Kamsko-Ustinsky district. During the survey of the territory, excavation work was discovered, namely the removal and relocation of a fertile soil layer in the coastal strip of the Volga River.

The total area of the plot where the fertile layer was removed was 1,250 sq.m. It also turned out that the land plot is privately owned by an individual.

Since the Volga River in the water area of the Kuibyshev reservoir is subject to federal environmental supervision, all materials on the case have been redirected to the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor to check the necessary documentation and take measures.
