The violator will pay 215 thousand rubles for the harm caused to nature

The court ordered the violator to pay the amount of damage for the damage caused to nature. It amounted to 215 thousand rubles.

The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, through the People's Control system, received an appeal from residents about unauthorized contaminated discharge into the Varkled River. Inspectors from the Kama department promptly went to the place in the Kuchukovskoye rural settlement of the Agryzsky district.

During the inspection of the water body, the violation was confirmed. It turned out that the contaminated discharge was carried out from the territory of the Navruz dairy farm enterprise.

Ecologists have taken samples of wastewater. According to the research results, exceedances of the maximum permissible concentrations for ammonium ion, nitrite ion, phosphate ion, iron and manganese were revealed.

The Ministry sent a warning to the violator, as well as a statement of claim to the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan. The court upheld the environmentalists' claim and ordered the legal entity to pay damages in the amount of 215 thousand rubles for damage caused to nature.

The discharge has been stopped for today.

Also, storage of dead wood and deadwood was found on the adjacent territory of the enterprise. The waste was located on the lands of the forest fund and agricultural purposes. Information on this issue has been sent to the Rosselkhoznadzor Office for the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan.
