In July, during the monitoring of the Sabinsky district, inspectors from the Northern Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan identified two violations in the village of Kuyuk. Environmentalists have recorded special equipment that was working on filling the riverbed of the Mesha river without permits. The inspectors also discovered the storage and placement of landfills in the water protection zone.
According to the extract from the Unified State Register of Agricultural Sciences, the owner of the land plot is an organization engaged in mixed agriculture. To take response measures, all materials were sent to the Tatar Environmental Protection Interdistrict Prosecutor's Office.
The prosecutor issued a resolution to initiate proceedings on an administrative offense under Part 1 of Article 8.42 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (violation of a special regime for carrying out economic and other activities on the coastal protective strip of a water body, a water protection zone of a water body, or a regime for carrying out economic and other activities on the territory of a zone of sanitary protection of drinking and domestic water supply sources).
