A huge landfill, the size of 2.5 football fields, was eliminated in the Kukmor district at the expense of "green" money
At the request of residents of the village of Sredny Kumor about an unauthorized landfill, inspectors from the Northern Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted an on-site survey of the territory. During the monitoring of the Kukmorsky district, the fact of violation of environmental legislation was confirmed. In the village of Sredny Kumor, a huge unauthorized dump with an area of 1.8 hectares was recorded, which is almost 2.5 football fields.
The liquidation of the landfill was included in the list of environmental protection measures implemented at the expense of the district budget revenues from environmental payments. As of today, work on the elimination of unauthorized landfills of municipal solid waste has been completed, and violations of environmental legislation have been eliminated.
Let us recall that "green" money is funds from local budgets aimed at implementing environmental protection measures. They are formed at the expense of environmental payments received by the district budget.
