In accordance with Federal Law No. 52-FZ "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation", the following key innovations are established:
From January 1, 2027 to December 31, 2033, the transfer of the category of land plots for the extraction of common minerals (CUM) It will be possible only as part of the implementation of priority infrastructure modernization and expansion projects defined by Federal Law No. 254-FZ.
From January 1, 2034, a complete ban will be imposed on the transfer of agricultural land to other categories for the extraction of opium.
In connection with the innovation, the terms for transferring land plots from one category to another will increase. It may also be completely impossible to change the category of land for the extraction of CUM.
If there are land plots of the "agricultural land" category, we recommend initiating the procedure for transferring the category of such plots to the appropriate one for mining and preparing the necessary documentation in advance.
