Environmentalists filed a lawsuit with the Tukayevsky District Court for the complete elimination of the unauthorized landfill
Earlier, as part of the monitoring of the territory of the Tukayevsky district, inspectors of the Kama Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed non-compliance with the requirements in the field of waste management. In the village of Malaya Shilna, waste was found from the demolition and dismantling of office and household premises, scrap and waste containing uncontaminated ferrous metals, as well as polyethylene and tires.
The area of the unauthorized dump was 34.7 sq.m.
Inspectors of the Kama department issued a warning to the Executive Committee of the Tukayevsky district about the inadmissibility of violating mandatory requirements. As of today, the unauthorized landfill has only been partially eliminated, and therefore a statement of claim has been sent to the Tukayevsky District Court of the Republic of Tatarstan to enforce the requirements of environmental legislation and completely eliminate the landfill.
