In the Arsky district, work continues on the implementation of environmental protection measures at the expense of local budgets from environmental revenues within the framework of agreements concluded between the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Executive Committees of the districts.
During a survey of the territory of the Arsky district by inspectors of the Northern Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, a violation of environmental legislation was revealed. Near the village of Baikal, environmentalists discovered an unauthorized dump of industrial and consumer waste.
The area of the violation was 6 thousand square meters.
This landfill was included in the list of environmental protection measures that are implemented through environmental payments received by the budget of the Arsky district. As of today, work on the disposal of the landfill has been completed, and violations of environmental legislation have been eliminated.
